Coffee Prince Episode 9&10

So episode 9 starts off with the two main characters being blood brothers. I thought this was sweet that he asks Eun Chan to be his blood brother. However, as I continued to watch the drama, I got a little bit confused as to whether this is the norm for Korean guys who becomes blood brothers. Do they act this close and comfortable with one another that they hold hands in public and go watch the sunrise together with her laying on his lap? I still think he's gay by the way he acts with her. I'm getting tired of the drama in a way because its not picking up as fast as I like, but I think the next few episodes will be better. Hopefully Eun Chan will reveal true self to him soon because I'm getting tired of not seeing her confess yet! As the episodes continue, I notice that one of the characters leaves to go off to the States. Is this typical in Korean dramas? It seems like there is always someone leaving to go to the states to escape some drama or what not? Whatever the case may be, she'll probably return to Korea in the later episodes. I just have to stay tuned!
