I'd say episodes 7 and 8 just about made the story line a little more messier than it already is. With Eun Chan running from Han Seong because he kissed her, and then Yoo Joo comes over unexpectedly finding Eun Chan running with her mouth covered just about made things messy. At first I thought when the half Japanese guy from the coffee shop found out that Eun Chan is really a girl was bad, Han Seong kissing Eun Chan was even worse.
As I watch each episode, I try to relate the concepts and ideas from the class, and as you can tell, I'm starting to engage myself with the characters. But what I do find interesting is this idea of "saving face". Although the characters try to confront one another, they don't do it directly, but more so, they take a passive aggressive approach. I guess what ever works for them. It makes me wonder though, is that what the culture is like? Don't be direct, be indirectly direct? Sorta confusing to me because I tend to be black and white, no gray area, but in Coffee Prince, theres all sorts of grey area.
Anyhow, I look forward to the next episodes because I think Yoo Joo is catching onto Eun Chan, but we'll see!
